As part of the Cohesion of Rotherham Project, we hosted a vibrant Storytelling Workshop at Maltby Edward Dunn Memorial Hall. Over shared food and warm conversation, participants from diverse backgrounds came together to tell personal stories, cultural reflections, and creative narratives. We also celebrated the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, with our volunteer kindly sharing festive mooncakes—a symbolic treat that added sweetness and cultural richness to the gathering. The session highlighted the power of storytelling to build empathy, strengthen community bonds, and celebrate identity. It was a joyful afternoon of listening, learning, and connecting—one story at a time.
