We are proud to announce the launch of our first English and Employability session on 22 November 2025. This initiative has been made possible thanks to the generous support of the UK Government, South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authorities, NHS, Rotherham Metropolitan Council, and Pathway to Works.
The project is designed to help participants strengthen their English language skills and develop employability competencies, enabling them to move confidently into the labour market. Many of our learners are from Hong Kong on BNO visas, and they are eligible to live and work in the UK.
Running from October 2025 to March 2026, the programme will engage 20 participants. We will deliver 60 hours of training across 10 weeks of sessions. Our key goal is for at least 25% of learners to secure employment, contributing to the local economy while building their confidence to enter the workforce. This marks an important step in supporting integration, opportunity, and community growth in Rotherham.
