Family Learning event 30th of July, 2025

On 30 July 2025, we hosted a joyful Family Learning event at the community allotment, bringing together families during the summer school holidays. Children had the chance to explore the basics of planting from soil preparation to understanding the growth process through hands-on activities that sparked curiosity and care for nature. It was heartwarming to see families working side by side, sharing stories while nurturing seedlings in the sunshine. The highlight of the day was a delicious BBQ lunch, featuring freshly prepared vegetable from allotment. The allotment buzzed with laughter, sizzling grills, and the scent of summer an atmosphere that nourished both body and spirit. This event not only encouraged learning and connection but also cultivated a deeper appreciation for sustainable living.
