On 16th July 2025, our Dumpling Class celebrated the rich culinary heritage of Hong Kong through hands-on learning and storytelling. Participants gathered to fold, fill, and savour these delicate parcels, a beloved tradition passed down through generations. With laughter and flour-dusted fingers, we explored the cultural roots behind each technique, from crafting the perfect pleat to balancing savoury fillings. The aroma of steamed dumplings warmed the room as friendships formed over shared plates and memories. This class wasn’t just about food, it was a celebration of identity, connection, and the joy of preserving tradition through taste. A truly heartwarming experience.
