Community Action Labs – 3rd Cohesion of Rotherham Project: “Employability of New Migrants” (29/08/2025)

The third session of the "Cohesion of Rotherham Project" focused on the "employability of new migrants", an increasingly important and timely topic. Through these "Community Action Labs", participants had the opportunity to discuss challenges, share experiences, and contribute their opinions, sending a clear and urgent message to policymakers about the support new migrants need to integrate successfully into the workforce.

We recognize that employability for new migrants is a "Hot Topic”, requiring awareness, understanding, and proactive solutions. Participants emphasized the importance of positivity, encouragement, and practical guidance for newcomers. As a community, we stand united in sending a heartfelt blessing to all new migrants: “Today Is Rain, Tomorrow Is Whisky.” This reflects hope, resilience, and the belief that challenges faced today can lead to better opportunities tomorrow. Together, we strive to build a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
