Cohesion of Rotherham project

I’m honoured to announce the launch of the Cohesion of Rotherham Project, running from July 2025 to March 2026. Huge thanks to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and Voluntary Action Rotherham for supporting this important initiative. This community-led project will feature 12 engaging events, including four Dialogue Dinners, two Storytelling Workshops, five Community Action Labs, and a Grand Celebration to mark its completion. Our goal is simple yet powerful: Building Unity Through Community Action. We aim to bring together 700 residents from diverse backgrounds—including Hongkongers, Chinese, Indian, and British communities—for shared experiences that foster trust, inclusion, and mutual understanding. Through storytelling, collaboration, and dialogue, we’re creating opportunities to connect, reflect, and strengthen the social fabric of Rotherham. Together, we’re laying the foundation for a more cohesive and welcoming community where everyone feels they truly belong.
