We sincerely thank "Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC)" and "Voluntary Action Rotherham (VAR)" for supporting and granting us this important project across Rotherham’s towns. Running from July 2025 to March 2026, the project spans 8 locations and includes a total of 12 events, such as Dialogue Dinners, Storytelling Workshops, and Community Action Labs. Our overarching goal is to "Build Unity Through Community Action".
The "Cohesion of Rotherham" project is a community-led initiative designed to foster "Trust, Inclusion, and Shared Understanding" across Rotherham’s diverse population. Through these interactive and engaging events, we aim to bring together around 700 residents from different backgrounds, including Hongkongers, Chinese, Malaysian, Pakistanis, Indians, and British. Participants are encouraged to share experiences, exchange ideas, and work collaboratively on meaningful actions that strengthen community bonds.
By connecting people through dialogue, creativity, and practical initiatives, the project lays the foundation for a "Stronger, More Cohesive Community" where everyone feels valued and included. This initiative not only celebrates Rotherham’s diversity but also empowers residents to actively contribute to a welcoming and harmonious local environment. Together, we are shaping a community where "Every Voice Matters and Everyone Belongs".
