SYWHC also hosted an enjoyable Bridge Session at Broomhall Centre on 27 June 2026, offering members and guests the opportunity to take part in an afternoon of friendly competition and social interaction.

The session was introduced by Victor, who explained the basic principles and strategies of Contract Bridge before participants joined in the games. Some attendees also chose to play Big Two (Chinese Poker), allowing everyone to enjoy their preferred card game in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Throughout the afternoon, participants challenged themselves, developed their strategic thinking, and shared plenty of laughter while making new friends. Refreshments were available, adding to the friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

The session successfully encouraged social engagement, mental stimulation, and community participation, and everyone enjoyed spending quality time together.
