The Children’s Capital of Culture session on 10 May 2026 

Was a truly lovely day at our allotment. Our youth members were excited to take part in this creative programme, proudly funded by Rotherham Council. Young participants painted beside the raised beds, taking inspiration from the plants, colours, and nature around them. They created their own drawings and artwork, expressing imagination and confidence in a relaxed outdoor setting. The atmosphere was joyful, with children exploring new skills and supporting one another. We are grateful to our young members for their enthusiasm and to Rotherham Council for making this opportunity possible.
