April marks an exciting time at our allotment project. Throughout March, we prepared numerous seedlings featuring diverse vegetables, enriching our soil with compost and topsoil for optimal growing conditions. Children are eager to learn planting skills, gaining hands-on experience in sustainable gardening and food production. Our allotment provides refugees and new migrants with opportunities to grow their own vegetables, promoting food security, physical activity, and mental wellbeing. As we enter the growing season, we urgently need volunteers to support planting, maintenance, and community engagement. Whether you have gardening experience or simply wish to contribute, your help is invaluable. Join us in cultivating community connection and sustainable living. Volunteers welcome!
