Pathway to Works Programme

We gratefully acknowledge funding from the UK Government, South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, Rotherham Council, and NHS, alongside Pathway to Works support for this vital programme.

Our Pathway to Works programme delivered two essential workshops designed to support new migrants in their journey toward employment and community integration.

The ESOL class focused on "Getting Around & Directions," equipping participants with practical language skills for navigating their local area confidently. This session covered essential vocabulary and phrases needed for daily travel, asking for help, and understanding transport systems.

The Employability class offered an "Interview Skills Workshop," providing participants with crucial tools for entering the UK labour market. Attendees learned effective interview techniques, how to present their skills and experience, and strategies for making positive impressions with potential employers.

By combining language learning with practical employability skills, we're empowering new migrants to overcome barriers and achieve their career aspirations in their new community.
